How do I listen online? I want to listen online but it doesn’t work? Any Suggestions? I tried listening online but all I get is a blank webpage and end back at the homepage? How do I listen online? In order to listen online you need to have windows media, winamp, itunes or real player installed on your system. To use our Listen Live player pop-up you need to have at least Real Player Basic installed on your system.

I tried listening online but it doesn’t work, any suggestions? It may be that you need to upgrade your media player. You should also only connect to the stream that is closest to your broadband connection speed, i.e. if you are connect through dial-up then use the Good Quality 28k stream. If you’re still having problems we recommend installing the free VLC player.

First ensure you have the latest version of Windows Media Player running. If asked about allowing enhanced content and view the web page choose ok. If windows media player is still not working and you have version 10 or 11 it may be you’re not configured for listening to internet streams. Press the alt key to bring up the menu, then ’tools’ and then choose ’options’ click on the network tab and ensure all the protocols for streaming is checked, and Allow player to receive multicast streams is checked.

I can listen online but it stops frequently? Can this be fixed? This is caused by insufficient bandwidth available from your broadband provider. This is most likely to happen when you listen at peak times. During these times try using the Good Quality Stream (28k) which uses less bandwidth.

I’m on a Mac, what is the best way to listen? The easiest way to find us on a Mac is through iTunes. Open iTunes and go to the radio directory and find the Religous catagory and after the directory has loaded scroll down to find Spirit Radio. For best results we recommend installing Real Player for the best sound quality.

Why isn’t the pop-up Live player working on the front page? Ensure pop-ups are allowed. You need to install Real Player on your system to use our Listen Live player. If you have Real Player installed and the player fails to load or is just blank it is likely that you need to install Flash on your system. In this case your browser should automatically alert you to install a flash player plug-in.

I have tried to tune my radio but I can’t find Spirit Radio, what is your frequency? Although we have been awarded a national broadcast licence for FM & AM are frequency wont be allocated until we are ready to go.
