Concerns about offshore wind farm in Connemara – Máire Eibhlín Chlochartaigh

Máire Eibhlín Chlochartaigh (a member of the Conamara Coastal Protection Group) speaks to Wendy about a proposal to construct  a West of Ireland offshore wind farm, which would be a first for this coastline. Máire speaks about the concern by locals over these proposals in regard to the environment,  the effect on  the coastline and threat to nearshore marine environment and local heritage.
