The Vine Group Living passion 2025 ‘Journey to find hope in our world’, will take place in various parishes around the Deanery of Tallaght from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday.
The Living passion is an annual ecumenical event that has become a very popular programme with those journeying through holy week and preparing for Good Friday and more importantly Easter Sunday whilst acknowledging the ongoing situations that the world is in.
The living passion has events and masses that have been chosen to give a feeling of what it would have been like to witness Christ’s week in Jerusalem and all that happened.
This years Living passion has been titled journey to find hope in our world and it will start on Palm Sunday with an opening statement by Bishop Eamonn Walsh.
Key events of the Living passion are the Movies with meaning – in the church of the Incarnation fettercairn at 7pm on Palm Sunday – the movie is the son of God it is free and refreshments are provided.
The Tallaght Camino will take place on Monday 14th starting at Saint Marks Springfield finishing at Saint Aengus’s Balrothery. Passports are available in all the churches in Tallaght and the Camino can be walked, driven, cycled or ran.
The trip to Glendalough on Tuesday 15th leaving Saint Mark’s Church Springfield after 10am Mass. The coach is free but limited seats available information available in all Churches and on our Facebook page.
Wednesday 16th there is a Mass for healing at 7.30pm in Saint Martin De Pores Church Oldbawn.
Thursday 17th at 9.15pm prayers around the cross in the priory garden this is a very special event acknowledging Christ’s struggle in Gethsemane entertaining through gate in back car park.
Sunday 5.30 am Dawn Mass in Kingswood park.
The Living passion will end on Easter Sunday with a closing statement from Bishop Eamonn Walsh.
