Stella O’Malley., Psychotherapist, Author, and Founder of Genspect (an international alliance of professionals, trans people, detransitioners and parent groups) speaks to Wendy about the concerns surrounding the teaching of gender identity in Irish schools as part of the proposed changes to the SPHE curriculum.
Stella also shares about how Genspect are seeing more young people coming forward for support after realising they received inadequate and inappropriate healthcare when they originally changed gender, and how they are now looking to detransition back to the gender they were born.
